Inner Development Goals (IDG) a framework for sustainable growth

The Inner Development Goals (IDG) are a concept from education for sustainable development that was created as a supplement to the Sustainable Development Goals. The realization that knowledge alone does not lead to action has brought together a number of civil society organizations and education stakeholders to develop a more holistic approach to closing this knowledge-action gap. The IDGs are a framework of 23 competencies/attitudes organized in 5 dimensions that aim to help individuals and organizations take internal growth steps to achieve external transformation. In my input I would like to introduce you to the IDG framework and how we have used concepts of humanistic psychology (Focussing, Hero's Journey and Gestalt Therapy) to support this growth in a four to five day workshop.

Procedure
We start with a 20 minutes Welcome Round in small groups for exchange and getting to know each other. After the input, there will be time for questions, suggestions, debate and comments.

Linguistic comprehension
The plenary presentations will be in English.
Translation into German, Spanish and Czech and back into English will be provided. Instructions on how to enter the language box can be found here. We kindly ask the participants with translation needs to inform the office about their coming by 15.04.2025.
As for the small groups, together we will ensure language understanding and communication.
