Building a culture of care in organisations that care for people

I am interested in taking advantage of this meeting to collectively build ideas on how to generate strategies to build a culture of care in a global sense: towards the people we care for, towards colleagues and towards oneself. Care based on caring, on caring for yourself and on being cared for.

How does the institution care for us?

Sometimes the difficulties are not only with the people cared for but also with institutional relations. Relations with colleagues, with the institutional assignments that are received, with the competition, with the objectives that are pursued.

From the institution, I propose some proposals that favour practices oriented towards the care of professionals, because working is not only an activity, it is also living together with rules of sociability.

Taking care of ourselves is always a co-responsibility between the responsibilities of the organisations, but it is also our responsibility as professionals.
 

Procedure
We start with a 20 minutes Welcome Round in small groups for exchange and getting to know each other. After the input, there will be time for questions, suggestions, debate and comments.

Linguistic comprehension
The plenary presentations will be in Spanish.
Translation into German, English and back into Spanish will be provided. Instructions on how to enter the language box can be found here. We kindly ask the participants with translation needs to inform the office about their coming by 15.10.2024.
As for the small groups, together we will ensure language understanding and communication.
