News from the EASC Board

The new year is beginning – time to take a moment to look back on our work on the Board.

Some of the highlights of 2025 were the new EASC Academy, the first SCC Roundtable, a meeting in Brussels, the collaboration with GIZ and Syrian supervisors, and of course our online congress in September.

The upcoming priorities for 2026 include redesigning the website, further internationalisation, and working on further collaborations with various organisations, including deepening our cooperation with ANSE and the EU. An important part of the Board's work is, of course, the preparation of the next Congress, which will take place in Budapest in 2026. So make a note of the date – 18 and 19 September 2026!

An important date is already fast approaching – we will be meeting online for two days at the end of January. This is a planned longer period of time during which the Board will be able to discuss current issues in more detail than the monthly evening meetings allow. This will enable us to set the course for our content, priorities and goals in the coming months.

2026 is beginning and we look forward to another year of working in the EASC for you and with you. We want to stay in close contact with you in the new year and welcome your suggestions and feedback. We are also always open to anyone who is interested in getting involved in the topics mentioned or in our committees. We wish you all a happy new year!
