Regional group meeting on the topic of ‘Self-employment as a coach’ - Franconia
25 participants at the Franconia/Upper Palatinate regional group meeting – something we haven't seen in a long time! Our topic, ‘Self-employment as a coach’, clearly had a great appeal. The fact that the meeting was held in a hybrid format (as is always the case with us) probably also contributed to this.
The focus was on the experiences of three coaches who had become self-employed in the last two to three years – a wonderful opportunity to learn first-hand from very specific experiences. A key conclusion from these learnings: it takes time, it's not always easy, but it's worth it.

Frankfurt/Rhine-Main Regional Group – Outlook for 2026
In December 2025, the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main Regional Group met for its end-of-year meeting – online, as usual.
However, there was not much looking back; instead, the focus was on the specific question: How do we continue in the coming year? And one participant from the group asked the question that we all know well from our work: What is the goal? What do we want to achieve with our regional group?
What could 2026 look like for us and how can the regional group function in such a way that it offers something worthwhile for as many people as possible? We want there to be reliability in the qualities of a group that meets regularly. At the same time, we want to be open to anyone who is interested but does not want to or cannot attend all meetings.
The plan for 2026 is to take two approaches: an intervision group and themed evenings.
The intervision group is intended to be a more permanent group (with meetings approximately every six weeks), while the themed evenings (two to four per year) are open to everyone. In addition, we want to meet in person once or twice a year, also open to everyone.
We have planned the following topics for the themed evenings in 2026:
-
The trauma house concept; a model from trauma-sensitive couples therapy
-
Fundamentals of leadership, leadership styles, ‘unfolding leadership’
and in the topic bank:
-
Hypnosystemic work with ‘inner parts’ (‘ego states’, ‘I states’)
-
Unconscious biases.
The dates for these will be announced once they have been agreed with the speakers.
This means we will be well prepared for the new year 2026! The next meeting of the intervision group will take place on 20 January 2026.
