Training

Supervision and coaching consist in professional support and consulting to people in challenging situations and constellations. The target groups are managers of companies or public administration entities who undergo turbulent change processes as well as professionals working in social fields, clinics and care, but also individuals who are faced with challenging processes of change.

As both forms of consulting work with partly similar or sometimes the same methods, we think it is important to clearly distinguish between the two in order to assure quality:

Coaching has a focus on short-term and solution-oriented work,

Supervision has a focus on long-term and reflection-oriented work.

EASC distinguishes between the two and correspondingly defines two independent professional profiles: Coach (and Master Coach) and Supervisor. In addition to them there are two functions, which confer qualifications to EASC members: Mentoring Supervisor and Trainer.
