Topic
Naturalizing supervision, following the "Human Value" model - New impulses for supervision

Presented by:
Anna Viñas:
Diploma in Social Education. Degree in Psychopedagogy. Graduate in "Systemic Interventions in non-clinical contexts. Master's degree in systemic family therapy. Expert in Group and Multifamily Interventions. Supervisor accredited by EASC. “Satir coaching and mentoring” specialist.
Currently, I am working as the Head of the people care area of the City Council of Castell- Platja d'Aro with the aim of implementing the relational-linked model - HUMAN VALUE - in the whole area.

Input
In the City Council of Castell-Platja d'Aro (Catalonia- Spain), since 2019,  a political and technical commitment was made to implement the relational-linked model HUMAN VALUE in the area of care for people. Supervision is one of the important spaces and tools to implement this model, so the spaces of supervision have become:

  • NATURAL: Because supervision spaces are normal spaces that all teams have and that can be used by any professional or group of professionals who detect a concern.
  • INTERDISCIPLINARY: Because professionals from different teams (schools with social services, CSMIJ, leisure spaces,...) can participate in a session.
  • WITHOUT HIERARCHY: Because this is a model of horizontal growth. Administrative staff, caretakers and concierges, the head of the area, etc. attend the team supervision sessions.
  • INTERNAL SUPERVISION: Because it is the same supervisor in all the teams in order to implement the model in a coherent way and also to be able to connect some teams with others.

With these elements, supervision has become a tool for professionals in their day-to-day work, where giving oneself a pause, feeling, reflecting and returning to conscious action is getting natural.

The evening will be moderated by Susanne Rieger
