Advanced training in life coaching at 4progress Zurich

What is the difference between coaching and life coaching? Can a trained coach or supervisor cover professional issues as well as life issues to the same extent?

Daniel Frei of 4progress Zurich offers us his perspective on this issue, which has been incorporated into the conception of the EASC-certified further training to become a life coach. Central to this is, among other things, a distinction regarding the counselling focus of the professions.

Invitation to the conference "Digital Fitness - Competences for the Digital Age"

On 30 November 2023, "The Digital Fitness Event 2023" will take place in Regensburg. A day dedicated entirely to the topic of digitalisation and the question of what skills are needed for it.

Experts from three countries will come together and give insights into their work in organisations as well as in research and teaching. The challenges arising from digitalisation and what is helpful in this process will be considered from the perspective of companies as well as individuals. The focus is on the question of what "digital competences" are and how we can define them - also methodically.

The day is initiated, organised and co-designed by EASC trainers Andreas Wolf and Marcus Splitt (ShiftHappens, FELIX Institute Berlin). EASC members can participate at the "Family & Friends" price; please use the code "COROM-EASC" when registering.

Meeting of the EASC regional group spokespersons

The EASC regional group spokespersons met on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, for another exchange. Participants were Livia (Frankfurt/Main), Gemma and Lluis (Spain-North), Heike (Hannover), Detlef (Ostwestfalen-Lippe) and Mathias from the EASC Board. Besides the always interesting exchange about the respective activities, the topic "Marketing" was in the center of attention. The regional group Spain-North will draw attention to their activities with an own flyer and inform about coaching and supervision in Spain. This is also interesting for others. As medium also the homepage is available, to whose specific information to individual regional groups these can refer in mails by link. Furthermore, the topic of "growth" and integration of new members was discussed, since EASC regional groups should of course be open to all members of a region in principle.

The exchange should be continued, be it online or for the next live congress in Prague also gladly again personally (or hybrid). More members are welcome to join again.

In the future, Markus Jüster will take over the coordination of the cooperation with the Board from Mathias Hofmann.

Quo vadis EASC

Last week, on 14 September, members of EASC, coaches, supervisors and institute representatives met for the first time to engage in a relaxed and unofficial exchange within the framework of a new discussion format.

We are all concerned about the changes in the coaching and counselling world; starting with the change of generations, the use of AI, up to the question of a socio-political task of our professions.

In a stimulating debate, the participants went online into working groups and discussed topics such as clearer onboarding into EASC, the stronger integration of the different generations and the exchange among each other, as well as even more intensive learning from each other on a European level.

Attached is a mind map that gives a good overview. We will continue the format "Quo Vadis EASC" and look forward to your participation and contributions to the discussion.

EASC International

On 13 and 14 September 2023, a conference of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on clinical supervision/case supervision in the context of the crisis in Syria took place in Turkey.

Verena Nerz attended the conference online and represented EASC there. She reports to us on the contents of the conference. The conference was the conclusion of a multi-year project in Syria on supervision in the field of MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) including the training of Syrian professionals.

You can read more about it at this link. EASC is planning a cooperation with GIZ to support the colleagues in Syria. We want to set up a working group on this topic of international cooperation. Members who are interested are welcome to contact office@easc-online.eu with the keyword "EASC goes international".

RTC working group

We are looking for interested persons who would like to participate in the discussions that take place within the Round Table Coaching (RTC).

The RTC has joined the SME Initiative and will soon be awarding a quality label to its members. These are two of the initiatives and we are looking for members who are interested in following and debating more closely.

New institute spokesperson elected

At the meeting of the representatives of the EASC training institutes in September, Christoph Schalk was elected as the new spokesperson of the institutes. It is his task to represent the institutes externally, but also to the other bodies of EASC. In particular, he wants to help shape the current reform process from the institutes' point of view. Christoph Schalk has a degree in psychology, has been working as a coach for over 30 years and is certified by EASC as a coach, master coach, teaching coach and teaching trainer. He is certified by the Professional Association of German Psychologists as a Senior Coach and Teaching Coach. He is the head of the Würzburg Academy for Empowerment Coaching.

EMCC Global Mentoring Conference

As you may have seen on social media, this year's EMCC Global Mentoring Conference will take place on International Mentoring Day, Friday 27 October 2023.  The conference website is now "live" and EMCC will be updating it with news on speakers and the programme in the coming weeks. https://www.mc23.emccconference.org/

EASC is a co-signatory of the Global Code of Ethics and we would like to use this opportunity to raise awareness of the conference!

Focus group - ANSE and EMCC

Dear fellow EASC members, dear colleagues! 

As one of the next steps of our cooperation with ANSE and EMCC we are organising an online  focus group to create a cross-association dialogue about Reflective Practice - what do we understand under this term, how do we practice reflection, how does the term and the practice relate to coaching and supervision, etc.

Přehled virtuálního kongresu EASC 2023 dne 16. září 2023

Pokročilé školení v životním koučování v 4progress Zurich

Jaký je rozdíl mezi koučováním a životním koučováním? Může se vyškolený kouč nebo supervizor zabývat profesními i životními otázkami ve stejném rozsahu?

Daniel Frei ze společnosti 4progress Zurich nám nabízí svůj pohled na tuto problematiku, který byl zahrnut do koncepce dalšího vzdělávání pro získání certifikátu EASC pro životní kouče. Ústředním bodem je mimo jiné rozlišení týkající se poradenského zaměření profesí.

Pozvánka na konferenci "Digital Fitness - Kompetence pro digitální věk"

Dne 30. listopadu 2023 se v Regensburgu uskuteční akce "The Digital Fitness Event 2023". Den věnovaný výhradně tématu digitalizace a otázce, jaké dovednosti jsou pro ni potřebné.

Setkají se zde odborníci ze tří zemí a poskytnou poznatky o své práci v organizacích i ve výzkumu a výuce. Výzvy vyplývající z digitalizace a to, co je v tomto procesu užitečné, budou posuzovány z pohledu firem i jednotlivců. Pozornost se zaměří na otázku, co jsou to "digitální kompetence" a jak je můžeme definovat - také metodicky.

Den iniciují, organizují a spoluvytvářejí školitelé EASC Andreas Wolf a Marcus Splitt (ShiftHappens, FELIX Institute Berlin). Členové EASC se mohou zúčastnit za cenu "Rodina a přátelé"; při registraci prosím použijte kód "COROM-EASC".

Setkání mluvčích regionálních skupin EASC

Mluvčí regionálních skupin EASC se sešli v úterý 12.9.2023 k další výměně názorů. Zúčastnili se jí Livia (Frankfurt nad Mohanem), Gemma a Lluis (Španělsko-sever), Heike (Hannover), Detlef (Ostwestfalen-Lippe) a Mathias z představenstva EASC. Kromě vždy zajímavé výměny informací o jednotlivých aktivitách se zaměřili na téma "marketing". Regionální skupina Španělsko-Sever upozorní na své aktivity vlastním letákem a poskytne informace o koučování a supervizi ve Španělsku. To je zajímavé i pro ostatní. Jako médium je k dispozici také domovská stránka a na konkrétní informace o jednotlivých regionálních skupinách lze odkazovat v mailech prostřednictvím odkazu. Diskutovalo se také téma "růstu" a integrace nových členů, protože regionální skupiny EASC by samozřejmě měly být v zásadě otevřené všem členům daného regionu.

Výměna zkušeností by měla pokračovat, ať už online, nebo na příštím živém kongresu v Praze, a to i osobně (nebo hybridně). Další členové jsou opět vítáni.

Koordinaci spolupráce s předsednictvem převezme v budoucnu od Mathiase Hofmanna Markus Jüster.

Quo Vadis EASC

Minulý týden, 14. září 2023, se členové EASC, trenéři, supervizoři a zástupci institutů poprvé setkali, aby se zapojili do uvolněné a neoficiální výměny názorů v rámci nového diskusního formátu.

Všichni se zabýváme změnami ve světě koučování a poradenství. Počínaje generační obměnou, využíváním umělé inteligence až po otázku společensko-politického úkolu našich profesí.

V podnětné debatě se pracovní skupiny pustily do on-line diskuze a byla navržena témata jako jasnější nástup do EASC, větší zapojení různých generací a vzájemná výměna, ale i ještě intenzivnější vzájemné učení na evropské úrovni.

V příloze je myšlenková mapa, která poskytuje dobrý přehled. Budeme pokračovat ve formátu "Quo Vadis EASC" a těšíme se na vaši účast a příspěvky do diskuse.

EASC International

Ve dnech 13. a 14. září 2023 se v Turecku konala konference Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) o klinické supervizi/případové supervizi v souvislosti s krizí v Sýrii.

Verena Nerzová se konference zúčastnila online a zastupovala na ní EASC. Podává nám zprávu o obsahu konference. Konference byla zakončením několikaletého projektu v Sýrii zaměřeného na supervizi v oblasti MHPSS (duševního zdraví a psychosociální podpory) včetně vzdělávání syrských odborníků.

Více informací o něm si můžete přečíst na tomto odkazu. EASC plánuje spolupráci s GIZ na podporu kolegů v Sýrii. Chceme vytvořit pracovní skupinu na toto téma mezinárodní spolupráce. Členové, kteří mají zájem, mohou kontaktovat office@easc-online.eu s klíčovým slovem "EASC goes international".

Pracovní skupina RTC

Hledáme zájemce, kteří by se chtěli účastnit diskusí v rámci kulatého stolu (Round Table Coaching - RTC).

RTC se připojilo k Offensive Mittelstand (OM), široké alianci podniků, státních institucí a dalších organizací, jejichž cílem je podpora středních podniků v Německu.

Další novinkou je, že RTC bude svým členům brzy udělovat značku kvality.

To jsou dvě z iniciativ RTC a my hledáme členy, kteří mají zájem je blíže sledovat a diskutovat o nich.

Zvolen nový mluvčí institutu

Na zářijovém setkání zástupců vzdělávacích institutů EASC byl Christoph Schalk zvolen novým mluvčím institutů. Jeho úkolem je zastupovat instituty navenek, ale také v ostatních orgánech EASC. Zejména chce pomoci utvářet současný reformní proces z pohledu institutů. Christoph Schalk vystudoval psychologii, více než 30 let pracuje jako kouč a je certifikován EASC jako kouč, mistr kouč, kouč výuky a trenér výuky. Je držitelem certifikátu Profesní asociace německých psychologů jako senior kouč a kouč výuky. Vede Würzburgskou akademii pro koučování posilování.

Celosvětová konference EMCC

Jak jste si mohli všimnout na sociálních sítích, letošní celosvětová konference EMCC o mentoringu se bude konat na Mezinárodní den mentoringu, v pátek 27. října 2023.  Webové stránky konference jsou nyní "živé" a EMCC je bude v následujících týdnech aktualizovat o novinky týkající se řečníků a programu. https://www.mc23.emccconference.org/

EASC je spolusignatářem Globálního etického kodexu a rádi bychom využili této příležitosti ke zvýšení povědomí o konferenci!

Fokusní skupina - ANSE a EMCC

Vážení členové EASC, milí kolegové!

jako jeden z dalších kroků naší spolupráce s ANSE a EMCC organizujeme online fokusní skupinu, jejímž cílem je vytvořit dialog napříč asociacemi o reflektivní praxi - co si pod tímto pojmem představujeme, jak reflexi praktikujeme, jak tento pojem a praxe souvisí s koučováním a supervizí atd.
